painting or air brushing a hammock?

just wondering has any one ever tried painting or airbrushing your hammock or tarp? dose it work or dose it distroy the hammock material? I am thinking about getting a clark nx 250 and will probibly get it used to save money but I am not a big fan of that color a little to much of that shade of green for my liking. any suggestions?

Neat idea. I have a buddy who does airbrushing. Ill have to ask him if he has ever done nylon. Airbrushed camo would be cool. I think it is the type of thing that would look better over time.

The other thing I'd worry about is that the fabric would flex and fold, but whatever you painted it with might not do as well.

There are special flexible fabric paints available (vinyl based, I think). These are normally used for t-shirts.

Try water resistant the paint (tiny micro spheres) would block some water
