Cool College room hammock, suggestions needed

Hello everyone, New member first post here.

Little about myself, My name is Nick from Ontario Canada, I'm currently a design student about to move into a cooperative house with a bunch of my friends for second year,

I was hoping someone could make a suggestion for an extra wide hammock that could be my everyday bed. Something in the <200$ range preferred, but would go as high as 300, No spreader bar preferred, and closed fabric, no netting or mesh. Also available in simple colors, IE black or red or deep blue.

The hammock would be hung from hooks installed in the walls, and I would probably have some type of system to make it able to be taken away when I need some extra floor space.

Also, I would be using other blankets and pillows together with it, so it does not to be completely insulated itself. I would be just fine with placing a thicker blanket on top of the hammock to insulate me from below in those cold canadian winter nights

So if anyone knows of a hammock or store that fill those criteria I would love to hear about it!

    thanks in advance!

    Nick

There's plenty to choose from & I'm sure you will get some great suggestions. a popular hammock without a net is the Warbonnet Traveler http://www.warbonnetoutdoors.com/travelers.php

Would love to see pics once you're set up - Good luck!

Also check out the ENO Doublenest, about the same dimensions as the Traveler.

    Ticket to the Moon!

If I were to have an every day sleeping hammock that could also hold a bunch of people, I'd go with the TTTM King sized hammock. I had four girls and me in the hammock, and it held just fine.

    It's also $65.

I have found it to be quite comfy.

All the suggestions are great ones, I like the Traveler myself. However, do you really want a hammock as your main bed while in college?

Many people sleep in Brazilian hammocks full time, you may want to check them out.

For what it's worth... I sleep in my hammock full time (don't even own a bed) and I prefer the small hammocks. I started with ENO singlenest but decided to DIY a gathered end hammock and found it much much more comfortable. Returned the ENO to REI. My back feels the best it ever has and my DIY hammock costs me $30 and an evening.

I sleep in a doublenest full time, my back thanks me every morning. Wish I'd known about hammocks before I spent I don't know how many thousands on the chiropractor!
