Since this is Hammock Forums, we try pretty hard to keep it focused on hammocks. So when someone posts something that isn't related to hammocks, it gets moved to the off-topic area.
Unfortunately, the off-topic area is only accessible to donating members, which is why you don't have permission to access it. We do this to keep the open forums with all the free content focused pretty strictly on hammocks. There's no pressure to donate...we plan to always keep the on-topic discussions free to the public, but if you'd like to discuss non-hammock info, there's a donation link on the top right of the homepage.
