Hanging Out in oHIo

Hi All,

Just bought a Hennessy Hammock UltraLight, and can't wait to use it! I'm new to hammocking, but am really looking forward to hanging instead of sleeping on the ground.

I guess I'll do some practice runs in my back yard in the Spring, and I'm planning to take the hammock on my section hike on the AT this Summer. Should be a great time.

Welcome.
Practice runs in the back yard are extremely helpful... & a very good idea.
There is a learning curve to hammocking, but it doesn't take long to figure it out & get your system the way you want it.
Easier to make most of your mistakes in the back yard though
