I've been to FL a couple of times in July (hot, buggy, and rainy), and I'm planning a trip for early March to the Everglades. How bad are the bugs in March, and how much does it rain? I know it's the dry season, but will I definitely need a tarp for a several night trip? Also, what temps should I expect for night?
Any advice on finding Brahminy blind snakes is appreciated as well; I'm a herpetologist and I need some for research purposes.
Thanks!
