HH Suspension

I was wondering if anyone has used the stock HH rope rap rings attached using a figure eight on a bite, then using webbing instead of replacing the original rope with cording such as Amsteel Blue?

This is my first post and I would like to thank everyone all the great info. My original intent for hammock camping was to sleep as comfortable as possible on motorcycle trips, while being able to pack all my camping kit in one pannier. I purchased an Exped but was unhappy with the suspension. The webbing suspension system appears convenient for this application.

I use a binner and 2 rap rings on both ends and then tie 2 half hitches on the line to keep it all in place. Works fine and is much faster to setup. Adjust easy too.
