No help but to further confuse the thought process, Brian has a reputaion of customizing to the needs of the buyer and will add pull-outs on the MacCat.

Both have great products and excellent reputations.

My own personal experience with Brandon and his excellent, "above and beyond" customer service would lean me in that direction.

Dont have the Mamajamba but do have the OES MacCat. The Mambajamba you can get the removable door kit but the OES Mac Cat you can get either grizz beaks or sewn doors from 2QZQ. Brian at OES will also add pannel pulls on the Mc Cat Ultra. I got the ultra with panel pulls and sewn on doors

edit: Just wanted to throw it out their that both Brandon and Brian have superb customer service having ordered from both of them (WBBB and Traveler from Brandon and Mc Cat Ultra from Brian) and both far exceeded expectations of mine (not saying that you were suggesting other wise JM but just wanted to put it out on the table) I dont think you could go wrong with either.

I loved the Mamajamba but the door system was a bit to fussy for me but others love it. Panel pulls you can get on either and both come in Spin UL. I used my Ultra with a traveler and had plenty of coverage. I would like to purchase a Mamajamba due to it having longer sides which come down further. Its all a matter of preference, weight and coverage (which when compared is very minimally between the two)

Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.

Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.

just to clarify, the ultra is 12" longer than the MJ, while the MJ is 16" wider than the ultra.

my personal preference is to have a tarp with the side panel pulls. So IMHO . . . either tarp with panel pulls will serve you exceptionally well.
