Actually stayed warm in my antiquated sleeping gear above ground. Saw some great equipment. Looks like a Speer Polarpod from TTTrailgear is going on my wish list!
    Thanks to all!

Sounds like az. Great time I really hope I can make it one year
Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.

Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.

Got all the cold I needed. I did fine for the most part, but at times I felt just a little under dressed. But the hammock was warm

BonsaiHiker, Firewalker & I all got home safely.
I'll post my pics (LATE) tomorrow. Had a GREAT TIME!! Got a new personal low temp in my hammock & got to try out snowshoes for the first time, OK, I"m hooked! AND, to end my first snowshoe walk with someone greeting me with "Here, have a bowl of Chili" before I even got my snow shoes off, WOW!

More thanks & stories after a shower & good nights sleep. Thanks all for a good time.

    Home. Tired. Shower. Bed.

Great to see some of you again, and wonderful to meet the rest. Awesome trip!
    --Scott <><

"I fish because I love to; because I love the environs where trout are found, which are invariably beautiful... because, in a world where most men seem to spend their lives doing things they hate, my fishing is at once an endless source of delight and an act of small rebellion; because trout do not lie or cheat and cannot be bought or bribed or impressed by power, but respond only to quietude and humility and endless patience...." --Robert Traver
