Hmm, hate to do this but it's past my bedtime. After looking at the uploaded images I think I'm going to resize them. I did them at 640 but I'm sure most of you have fast internet connections and larger screens so I'm going to bump them up to 800 instead. Sorry for the delay.

    Here are some teasers, though:

Its been said already but I have to say it again. This meet was incredible. Fantastic people (even though I'm not the most social animal), absolutely incredible food (the cooking was UNBELIEVABLE!!!), and a great place to meet. Cant say thanks enough to all who were involved in organizing this great event and to all who made it happen. So many people did so much I cant remember all of the names. Thank you.
Checking out all of the different gear and sharing ideas was inspirational to say the least. I learned a lot. Also, I, and others, were really happy to hit a new low of dang near 25 degrees.
It was great meeting folks and I cant wait for the 2nd annual.

Yes--that was Hoi. He had the tiddiest camp in the whole park and was front and center for all the festivities.

We got a prototype new in the box and put it through its paces. I will have a vid posted in a day or so. It was a great piece of gear.

I have to throw out a very special thanks to Islander, Flackfizer, EdHess, & Damifino for getting this Florida snowball rolling (and roll it did) from the organizing to actualy scouting out the site months in advance.

A special thanks to Islander for the coolest patches out there AND for scoring a prototype Backcountry Boiler from it's inventor just for a FL hang demonstration!

And a hearty thanks to those who brought a dutch oven, which was just about everyone

Thanks for the awesome weekend, folks. It was great to see some old friends and meet so many new ones. It was my buddy John's first night in a Hammock, and we did him right. The food, the laughter, the hiking, the gear, and even the weather were beautiful and a feast for the soul. Special thanks to Chuck for greeting me, showing me around, and treating me like a long lost brother.....we had never met before! It was that kind of weekend. Let's do it again!!!
