Good Price On Ticket To The Moon Hammock.

I was looking at the Indonesian TTTM website when I noticed that there is a US site that sells TTTM hammocks. They have pretty good prices on their hammocks:

Ticket To The Moon US Website
44.99 on a double hammock (normally sells for about 60.00 on other sites)
    34.99 for a single

The Indonesian TTTM site has single color, single size hammock for $30.00.

What an interesting site! Beautiful pics. Maybe we should all have a group hang in Bali. We could really go light...no underquilts or pads needed :^)

Has any one here sampled both a Treklight and a TTTM ( each one a DOUBLE)hammock? I'm just wondering if there are any significant differences in them, pros and cons? Or are they about identical?

I can't say about a TrekLight, but I also own an ENO DoubleNest and there are very few differences between the two. The only real differences that I can tell is that and ENO has a compression strap on the storage sack and comes with biners instead of metal hooks like a TTTM.

My ENO is black with tan edges and my TTTM is green with tan edges. The tan fabric on both hammocks looks identical.

I have suspected for a while that there is a single source for all HAAB style hammocks. I talked to Charly, owner of TTTM, and he said that they are a manufacturer, so they probably produce most, if not all, of them. I guess the only major difference is what you pay for the hammock.

Electric Light Orchestra. It's a pretty good song, if you're into ELO.

I thought "Needle and Spoon" was by Savoy Brown...

I've had a Trek light and a TTTM (king size) it is readily apparent that they are made by the same facility. Even the little size tab is the same.

Incidentally the TTTM king is 10.5 by 7.2 feet which is plenty big to sleep perpendicular to the suspension. The Brasilians pioneered conjugal hammocking.
