If you're referring to the Big Knife I brought along, it is an Ontario RTAK II. Very similar to the newest line of Esee Knives, Junglas.
Bug Honking knife! Great Batoning knife.

Not exactly...two separate events a self contained hike/camp/hang on March 11-13 and a self contained paddle/camp/hang on March 24-27.

Yeah--this thread is laying out the details for a March 11-13 backwoods hike. That means packs, light gear and all. We are closing in on the site--the ONF is looking very good right now.

OK I'll have to decide if I want to paddle or hike!!! Probably hike because it's easier not to have to bring a boat and all that gear too. A backpack can be a carry on if I fly....hummm brainstorming....

I can't say for sure--but the simplest solution sounds like moving to Florida.
