Just to confirm dates: Depart for THE ISLAND on Friday May 13 @ 10:00 am and return Sunday May 15... Want to make reservations but want to make sure I have the right dates... I saw May 14 posted somewhere...

Anyone know what the departure time from THE ISLAND will be on Sunday, may need to take that into consideration with Saturday night camp location...

Those are the dates and times I went with.

I believe this was all stated earlier, but:

It was $34 round trip.

We will need to pay $10 day of to the park service and $5/Site/Night. A site can have 2 tents. Not group discounts for the ferry but there is group discounts for groups of 10.

ENTRANCE FEES

Per Person Fee — $5.00 per person
Valid for 7 days from date of issue.
For individuals 16 years of age or older who enter the park by foot, bicycle, motorcycle (per rider), or as part of an organized group (each member) not involved in a commercial tour.
For entry into all areas of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore.

CAMPING FEES

North Manitou Island (Via Passenger Ferry or Private Boat)/p>

Village Campground Campsites for 1-4 persons: 8 Total Sites, 0 Reservable. $5.00/night.

Backcountry Camping for 1-4 persons: Unlimited Sites. $5.00/night.

Group Camping for 10 persons maximum: Unlimited Sites. $10.00/night.
