Pansaver 24 x 30 oven bags for pack liners

Recently in another thread an article was brought to discussion that lead some of us to the idea of using ovenbags for stuff sacks. It was mentioned in the article that a 24 x 30 bag was available from the Pansaver company. This size bag is not available at the supermarket and it is believed they might work rather well as a packliner. However, these bags can only be purchased in quantities of 100 for around $65.00 plus S&H. It has been thought that there might not be enough interest to do a group buy of a 100 bags. So I have contacted the regional representative in my area through email about possibly doing sample purchases. He was kind enough to offer these samples for free at the moment because they currently don't have a sample purchase program set up at the company. I DO NOT want to take this gentleman's kindness for granted in his offer. So I'm taking a pole to see who would be interested in getting these bags and how many each person might be interested in with in reason. Obviously if there is a overwhelming interest I would be organizing a group buy instead of the sample deal. But, because the representative has been so nice he may be able to get us a discounted price on a group buy but I have not asked him that yet. First things first who's interested and how many? If you have a quantity you want and it is not listed in the pole by all means let me know how many by posting in this thread. Thank you all. This Pole will be open until Monday as to get back quickly with the representative on the quantity we would need.

I would possibly be interested in even buying some if there is enough interest in the group buy.

Have you got any links to info about these bags? That would be most helpful.

    Thanks.

I had posted a question about DIY stuffsacks & asked about the seam sealant & the value of waterproofing your bags. Angry Sparrow linked this article :

Wherein the author uses the roaster bags for stuffsacks, because they are tough & watertight.
