I live in my Five Fingers! Thanks so much for posting this. I had no idea they made wool covered ones. I was just thinking about how to DIY some hobbit feet covers for my Five Fingers, but I'll just spring for these.

    AWESOME!!

Great camp shoe for those that like them, but if you are not used to them and have to go in the middle of the night, imagine the horror of trying to put them on.

I think the KSO trek might be my next trail shoes. I'm not sure which model he had on but I saw someone wearing some fivefingers in the gym today. First time I've seen a real live human wear them. Wouldn't have realized what they were if I hadn't been checking out the website already.

My pinky toes kind of curl in and somewhat under the next toe which results in black toenails when I hike. I'm hoping these would fix that, but we'll see.

I'd recommend the Treksport rather than the KSO for hiking, the sole is much nicer.

I have a pair of treksports that I run in and I really like them. I am planning on working from running in them, to hiking in them, and then into trailrunning in them.

Oh and also, I would take s1125r's advice on them over the KSOs. The traction is much better, especially when it's wet at all. There is a little less feeling of being barefoot, though, as the soles are just a bit thicker (1mm I think).

Hrm...I think I like those. Might have to get them when my KSOs wear out.

They don't feel "as barefoot" as the KSOs...but still don't really feel like they're giving any additional support, right?

Definitely not. The sole is just a tiny bit thicker due to what they added for better traction. The same is true of the bikilas. It's a difference of 3mm vs 4mm I believe.
