My local target has kelty rain jackets (8.7 oz) on clearance for $8.74.

May I suggest you buy them out and sell them on Ebay, or something. Target's online price is $35.

Wow. That's awesome. I saw them at target last week on sale for $17 from $35. It did say 10oz though. I'd assume the same but maybe different. Ill have to check back tomorrow

I thought about that but there are already a few on ebay for $10 with 0 bids.

I bought one for my wife to toss in her daypack. The womens at least says 8.5 oz (i was off by .1 ouz

). The mens probably weighs more.

Been waiting for these to come down from $17. I'll drop by tomorrow and see if they have one left.

Not an eVent Packa but hey, for that price I'll certainly upgrade from my disposable plastic $2 model.

Thanks for the heads up. Went by Taget today. Bought the last two xl's and one for my wife. $8.74 !! you can't beat it.

Has anybody tried these out in the rain? I've seen them at Target before and wanted to see some reviews on them before I bought one. I am just wondering how well they repel rain and if so how ong before they soak through..

Dropped by one store yesterday and the old model that comes in sort of a tube had been replaced by a new unisex sized model in a flatter pack at the original price points.

Going by another store tomorrow if I have time and see what they've still got floating around.

Target drops prices WAY down if you're patient. Hopefully they have stock left when the price finally goes down. Fair warning, when its just 'on sale' slide the sale sticker on the rack over to check the original price. Somethings their 'sales' are actually temporary price increases.
