    Another First Hang

Got my WBBB 1.1DL and Superfly in today. Just set it up for the first time in the backyard. Going to sleep in it tonight. Supposed to get down to 25*. All I have at the moment are a 15* down bag and Air Core insulated pad.

The "holding your hand like a gun" trick works great to get the angle. I guess the ridgeline is preset for optimum? I need to play with the suspension height and hammock sag a little more, as I've read you want the ridgeline with just a slight amount of slack in it. It's taut right now.

Hope you'll be warm enough. Set up looks good. I found mine was more comfortable with the RL a little looser than taut. Have fun!

Tracking says my WBBB 1.7dbl is on the truck for delivery, so I should have a nice package on the door step when I get home

Got the tarp up. I still need to play with what I'm going to settle on as far as ridgeline, tie out ties and all that, but here's what I did as a quick set up for the night, before it gets too dark.

I think the tarp ridgeline needs to be higher. ???

Used prusiks(I think that's what they're called)on the ridgeline and toggled them to the tarp with a stick.

    Tieouts

Not sure about this ridgeline to tree yet.

This is the "hold you hand like a gun" method I was referring to, as I understand it anyway.

If I wanted to connect the tarp ridgeline to the hammock suspension instead of running a CRL from tree to tree, I was thinking of still using a prussic and toggle at the tarp tie point but how would I connect to the wide tree strap of the suspension?
