    Newbie Tarp ~ sweet and sour warbonnet ?

    Hi guys, I was look at the warbonnet mamajamba on their site but from reading here it says that the Mamajamba in silnylon is not made in the USA anymore ?

    However, their site says "We’re located in Fort Collins, CO in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, and ALL OUT GEAR IS MADE HERE LOCALLY" I'm confused at the statement..... if I order one will it come slapped with 'Made In China' or 'PRC' stamped on it straight out of Beijing ?

    not that I'm a style guru or label person but I'd like to know which industry and country I'm supporting here whilst at the same time being supported in my hammock of course

    Brandon posted a while back that he was exploring some overseas manufacturing options. I believe anything made abroad is marked somehow. If you want to be sure you are getting something he made himself I'm sure that's possible. I think he was trying to keep up with ever increasing demand for his gear. With the way the membership is growing its going to be hard for a small operation to offer timely deliveries.

    Anything he sells that is imported has a "(i)" after the name. I have one of the imported Big Mamajama's and it is very high quality and well made.
    I am still 18 but with 52 years of experience !

    I have the China BMJ, I believe it was one of the first ones too. I have used it 3 times since XMAS when i got it. Works great, high quality, light weight, I'm very pleased!

    Good grief man are you on a mission or what!? On another site where I am a mod we would be looking at you and wondering about your Troll quotent. Dude, let it go. I posted this in another thread but decided to copy it here over a link;

    Although I am one who prefers to buy domestic when possible (did you see that? WHEN POSSIBLE) and when pricing is reasonable I must say Brandon has been 100% above board with this. First he makes a thread announcing that he did a test run and answered all of us with gentleness that I would have found hard to muster for some then he prices the (i) products at almost half of the domestic. He could have said nothing and kept the pricing identical while pocketing the extra cash, saving himself the grief.

    Brandon has been a model of integrity in his business model and production values.

    No one is forcing you to buy Warbonnet. If you don't want to, don't. Now go away.

    Manufacturing, business practices, and the source of goods are off-topic for this forum.

    If you have specific complaints or praise about the quality of Warbonnet's (i) goods, then that's a valid topic. But just discussing and speculating about the source manufacture isn't helpful.

    Let's keep it on topic and friendly please.

    So far your titles have included "sweet and sour", and "ping pong"... the constant trolling over the same topic is bad enough. The thinly veiled racism is a lot worse.
