MY new WBBB 1.7dbl

Since everyone else is crowing about their new Warbonnets, I thought I would chime in too.
I was a long time (10 yrs) HH explorer asym user. Do to my advancing age and not being able to sleep on my side comfortably in the HH, I lurked around here for over a month before deciding on the WBBB 1.7dbl. Ordered it about 10 days ago and sat on the porch on 20 degree weather waiting for the mail person to deliver my package. Got it yesterday afternoon and after kissing the mail man (on the cheek ), I ran inside and tore the package open.
Hmmm, I said to myself--this cant be all of it. 2 small bags. Ok--lets open them and find out whats inside.
The contents slid out onto the floor before I could catch it. Thats some slick material! And very light weight! After a quick inspection I decided I ordered the right hammock and tarp. I went outside and hooked it up to the fence and the shed door. Boy, does Brandon do excellent work. No flaws and perfect stitching.
I ordered the (i) BMJ with side pulls - the one made in china. I read some posts about it (sweet and sour) a little while ago and have no problem with it (the tarp, not the post). I knew what I was ordering. The hammock and tarp are first rate.
Now that my tarp has a new ridge line, I'm ready for some hanging tomorrow at the park. I believe I made a good choice!

When you hung in the park, did you use a pad or UQ?

Didnt use either. Was chased out of the city park, so didnt get to hang but for a few minutes. Guess the police thought I was going to set up camp--even after I explained nicely that I was'nt homeless and was just trying my new hammock out. They were not amused.
So I packed back up (under watchful eyes) and went home.

I'll set back up in the back yard and report back.

I also have one of the imported Mamajamm tarps. They are nice.

Just wish I had ordered the optional doors at the same time. But then that just gives me an excuse to order something else from Brandon when I have some spare $$$

Yeah, I kinda wish I got the doors also, but I'm still happy with the coverage I get! I too must wait for the money tree to bloom.
