+1 on Steve D's response. I use a sewn PLUQ also for the ENO SN and the DN. You just have to remember its 2/3 length and plan accordingly. I recently modded an old synthetic sleeping bag similar to the sewn PLUQ plans to get more length. It turned out well but I haven't had a chance to use it yet.

    Ember experience

I have two eno embers. They are the originals with the closure system. Positive aspects are the incrediblly easy deployment. no adjustment, ability to bolster insulation, comfort, workmanship, and moisture resistant insulation. This is not an extreme cold weather quilt when used alone. On the negative side, weight and bulk are excessive for backpacking. I use mine for car and boat camping. Cost is steep but my local gear shop has several 30% off sales per year. My BIAS hammock is too long. In summary, if you can find old stock on sale at your local eno dealer and plan on using with eno hammock in temps above freezing while camping out of some sort of vehicle, I say go for it.

Looks ****** to me- I just got a new jarbridge and I want to get a full length next- but would not like being trapped in the "cocoon"
