6oz Climashield Underquilt - My First DIY UQ

This is my first attempt in the world of underquilts. I've always used pads. Anyway, this is made of Wally world ripstop and 6oz climashield. It's about 86" long x 54" wide. I made the shell fabric about 5" total wider and and 5" total longer and darted the corners to make a bit of a differential. In retrospect, it's a bit too much difference. I think maybe 1" to 1 1/2" would be enough. Pics are of the UQ on my homemade 12' double layer hammock. So far...so good!
Oh yeah...I made the stuff sack long so that I can store it uncompressed and then compress it down by doubling over the stuff sack. That's what you see in the first two pics.

I knew someone was going ask. Unfortunately I don't have an appropriate scale. Best I can tell with my cheapo fishing scale it's somewhere between 24-32oz. including the stuff sack, but definitely no more than 2 lbs.

I haven't actually spent a night in it yet. I'll post back when I do. I can say temps today when I was taking these pics were upper twenties, and I was quite comfortable. Granted, I wasn't sleeping, but I didn't feel any cold coming up from the bottom. Based on what I've heard from other's experience with 6oz climashield I'm expecting to get to 30 degrees, but I may go lower with my heavy synthetic sleeping bag. I can say that I first hung it the other day when it was 11 degrees and took a nap with just this quilt and a blanket on top. I did get cold, but not so much that I'd be worried. I'm also planning to put snaps on it so I can put a space blanket on top.

This cost me probably somewhere between $60-$70. I used about 5 yards of ripstop from wally world at $1.50 per yard, I bought 3 yds of climashield from OWF for a total of about %40, shock cord from vogue fabrics (I think I bought 60 feet for $10 but only used around 18 feet of it), and cord locks from wally world at 4 for $ .84.
