when I filled out the application form I claimed dual use. I was able to provide pictures documenting its use as a tent, but the Grand Vizar wants documentation that it actually works as a parasail. So the points will have to wait until I can get a picture of Dutch flying around in that thing.

Maybe if he survives I'll have a shot at Grand Poobah...but I bet I'll need to solve the Navier-Stokes equations describing the air flow over the parasail surface. Stock solutions won't work, because they don't assume a payload that is kicking his legs wildly in the air....

Yeah, you probably will have to calculate a Navier-Stokes-with-flailing-legs equation in order to make GP.

If you need Dutch to leap off of a fixed base in order to help calculate loft, we'll have to find a suitable cliff or roof at Mt. Rogers...

That's really an excellent suggestion. Dutch being a fashion maven and all, he probably won't mind too much if it is camo duct tape.

Don't know if I'd be so quick to break out the camo duct tape. then you'll have Neo lining up on that one. But at least you'll keep Hammock Engineeer away to concentrate on completing his thru.

Way to go on your hammock. I am looking forward to seeing it on a hang out soon. Mule

Dang, now there's competition for the good fabric at the Kentucky Wal-marts!

You'll be hooked solid in no time.

    Congrats on the project!
