Are you looking to do bug netting that is integrated into the hammock, like a hennessy, or something that is not attached and goes around the hammock, like the ENO Guardian?

Have you already built the hammock?

Refer to the sticky by headchange4u on the hennessey clone. It shows a good graphic of how to do the netting.

Figure out your hammock ridgeline length. Figure out your hammock total length.
Cut the netting so the edges equal your total hammock length, meeting in the middle at your shorter ridgline length. Sew it on. Allow for seam allowances.

If you don't want a ridgeline, like a skeeter beeter or claytor style hammock, just sew a matching piece of netting to you hammock.

    Thumbs up Ahh ridgeline length!

Just about to do the same thing to one of mine. Thanks Gargoyle for the reminder of ridgeline length vs overall length to avoid a baggy net effect. Saved once again by the forum members!!!Bush
