In-line tarp tensioner

I was thinking of attaching the tube end at the stake and using a prussik larksheaded on at the D ring so I could make adjustments from under the tarp if need be. Have you tried it both ways? Any difference in performance?

This is the one I use, I realize it's not the surgical tube like what you're using but I thought I would post it for others to see. I like it a lot so far but I've only used it a couple times. I also use the glow in the dark mini line-loks that are in the HF store with this system. Not my video, btw.
