4th Annual NJ winter Hang Report

JUST got home from the hang. Me, Stick, Stalker and my boys were the last ones to leave. Had a great time with some great people. Wish more people could of made it.

We had a total of 23 people for the weekend. Most came Friday, but a few came on Saturday. Low was 13degrees last night.

I'll add more pictures and a full report after I'm done unpacking and settled in.

We were all sad the weekend ended.

Glad it all went well!! I wish I could have gone, but 2 weekends "gone hikin" in a row & my wife would have hurt me.

Let me know if I got anyone wrong. So we had 21 instead of the 23 we thought. Well, 22 if you count the snowman, and 23 if you count Kaia.

Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.

Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.

I had a great time this weekend! Really nice to put names and faces together! Thanks so much to all of you for a fun time in the woods. Both the company and the food were amazing!

NOTE: The Weather Channel said the low was 13, but my $9.00 REI digital high/low thermometer said 12 degree was reached Saturday night!

It was so much fun this weekend becoming reacquainted with old friends and making new friends. The snowfa was an awesome addition to the fire circle. And it seemed like quite a few people were joining in the fun with Frosty. Don't think we ever used the cooler, but the igloo was neat. Those boys worked really hard this weekend having fun. Thanks to all those that worked so hard to make this event work from reserving the campground to opening up the paths to and from, to putting up our kitchen and making the snowfa and love sleet. I think you will see a lot more entries next year in the Coup de grâce de grub cookoff too. It was all a great success.

Hopefully this link will take you to my pics.
