Amazing how many things there are out there that we don't need, yet still want so bad and convince ourselves that we do need.... I'm with you.. I NEED one of these too.

How thick is the PE foam? I've been trying to get the folks at the local Best Buy to hook me up with some for a while now. I've never seen such devotion to getting rid of their trash before.

4' x 5', maybe 1mm thick. i have no Idea if it will be useful but I'll sleep on it anyway! my plan is to make it part of a sleeping pad. I want one that will be waterproof and durable in case I have to go to ground. This stuff is super light, weight would be negligible.
That being said... the projector... i will try it. And www.thinkgeek.com has solar chargers for phones
