    Dayhike hang

Went on a little 6 miler today. Took a full pack with me just because, and once I got out, set up the hammock and tarp to show it to the people that went with me. Also broke out the new woodgas stove and alky stove to show them. No pics of the stove, but there were a couple of me lounging. Our woods are more cedar than "piney."

It was 62* and partly cloudy. Absolutely gorgeous and way better than the 17* and snow we had last weekend!

Not today, I was on Sunday. Did the Bryant Grove Trail. I slept in the shelter the second, warmer night, and was miserable. That WILL NOT happen again. I thought I slept well on the ground until I got this ham smock thing.

was that with the hiking meetup group or the kayak meetup group? I saw that one of them were doing a hike Sunday at Long Hunter. I wanted to go but had been gone the past 2 weekends camping and had things to do

You going to the meetup Sat? I will be bringing 3 tents and a hammock for show and tell. You could bring your new underquilts to show off to everyone

It was with NOA. There were only 5 people that showed up, myself included. I'll be there Saturday, and I'm bringing all my gear, so anything anyone wants to take a look at, I'll have it there.
