    I finally made it here.

After a couple decades of sleeping on slopes, puddles, rocks, roots, and sticks, I am finally converting to luxury in the wilderness. Here in the Pacific Northwest, we seem to have unlimited opportunities to get out and enjoy peace and beauty of nature. The other good news is that we have a lot of strudy trees.

I’ve been a soloist backpacker for the most part, so my hiking “community”, so to speak, is online. I like to share adventures and enjoy seeing other’s adventures and the sharing of knowledge that takes place.
I look forward to hanging out on this site (sorry for the bad pun).

    Best regards all,

Welcome to the forum. Considering your trail name, you'd be popular on group hikes.

Hello from a fellow Pacific Northwester. Yes, our trees our bigger and our weather is wetter, but that makes hammock camping all the sweeter. This is a great place for info and a nice way to meet up with others to check out gear and meet up on the trail.
