Which Traveler for indoors

I'm thinking about ordering a Traveler hammock for home respectively indoors use exclusively. Basically a replacement for the bed. Therefore the weight is of no importance. I'm very happy with my Blackbird and I guess whenever I go hiking or cycling, I would take the BB anyways.

In this case, which Traveller hammock would be the best to pick? Is it correct to assume that the double layer 1.7oz would provide the best lay? I love the olive colour, so that would be a bonus

Really depends on you , your weight etc.. double layer is great if ya want to slip a pad in, you will probably need something under you at some point unless you have a very warm house..

I am using a fleece under quilt, been sleeping full time in the house in my traveler for about 6-7 months now...

I am using the Traveler singel layer 1.7 oz. with Hammock Gear Winter Incubator every night as my bed.

If you go with the double layer you'll have the most flexibility. You can use a thin pad between the layers or an UQ on the outside. It's home use so weight isn't an issue...actually it's a benefit. A sturdy double 1.7 sounds like a good way to go.

I will probably use my 3-season incubator indoors. What's better than a full-length underquilt?

All the people using a Traveler every night at home: do you use some kind of sheet? Up to now I didn't mind the nylon of the hammock, but maybe a bed sheet would feel nicer? Or would that be too difficult to keep in place?

If you use the hammock as is, I guess you'll wash it every now and then?

Regarding the sheet question, I find that anything I put under me gets all bunched up and hard to manage. The nylon hammock material isn't bad but I switched to a cotton Brazilian hammock for indoor use. The heavy duty cloth is nice. On top I use a down top quilt made from two down throws.
