Interesting. I'm glad to hear people are comfortable in their 1.1s. I think this sunday I should have a chance to hang in my traveler and possibly an over night toward the end of the month. Ill report back with my findings.

I finally had a chance to do a little louging in the 1.1 traveler today and I gotta say it was very comfortable. I did experience a little bit of stretch but nothing that concerned me much (I weighed in at 182lbs the other day) I can see how there may be issues for me with soulder compression so ill have to do a full night in it sometime soon. Hard to believe how strong ripstop is. Compared to my expedition, the extra room was great.

I'm jealous man, I haven't got a chance to take out my new traveler yet. Layin it out at home it looks like it's the perfect amount of space and I really really like the feel of the 1.7.. and it's a double. I think I've already talked myself into this hammock and out of my ENO as a go to and I haven't even used it yet.. but it looks so simple to use and everything is in one package. Like I said, I'm jealous Hopefully I'll get to test run it before any of the ohio hangs

That's great slo, I'm sure you'll love it. You should bring it to wildcat if you decide to come out. I'd like to see a double layer traveler. I'm probably just gonna bring my blackbird. I don't have a proper top quilt so ill be using random quilts pilded on me and I figured it'll be a lot easier to keep them all from falling out with the netting.

I'll definitely bring it out bro, I'm pretty set on going to both hangs. Good idea with the bug net keeping the TQ's in the hammock, probably a good reason in general to have an attatched bug netting if not just to keep everything inside the hammock. I'll be glad to get a look at your WBBB proper, I've been on the fence between one of those and the BMBH, would be great to get to at least see one in person before I pull the trigger on one.

I'm 5'8" 200 and made a 1.1 sl to test, loking for the lightest weight possible. Seems fine on my test hangs, will continue to test on overnites (when I got a spare) until I'm sure of it's security. Not concerned about long service life as I can make another in short order. Just need it to work for at least five days. So far only concern is too much stretch but we shall see. Ahh, the search for the lowest weight possible goes on and on,,,Bush

That's awesome Bushmedic. Keep us updated on how its working for you. I too have been thinking of how to get the lowest possible weight without sacreficing to much comfort. I even thought of trying a 1.0 single layer, nano 7 size, haha. I'm curious how that would work out.

i experience no uncomfortable stretch or should squeeze laying in the single layer 1.1 traveler at @ 175lbs during a full night's sleep on peter's mountain. i did decide that i had to have my feet hung noticibly higher than with my blackbird. i kept sliding down the hammock
