    Welcome to the madeness.

Warbonnet BlackBird is a posible hammock to check out. Brandon has made some 3 layer BB's for some of the heavyer weight hangers on the forum. I believe Hogg Tyed has one, you could try contacting him about it.

Also try and attend a group hang for a chance to check out some different set ups.
I am still 18 but with 52 years of experience !

Yeah I believe Hog Tyed has a triple layer. The Warbonnet Blackbird would be my suggestion as well. I had a double layer 1.7 when I was around 285lbs and it was very comfortable. I am on my way down in weight so I'm going to buy a double 1.1 this summer.

Welcome Big Joe. I used to live in Hooksett and owned a business in Manch-Vegas (only those NHers know what that is) and you've got some great areas to hang up there. I'm not as big as you but did spend an evening in a WBBB and it was very comfortable. It will be my next hammock. That said, there are a lot of personal preferences that go in to getting a good hammock for yourself. gunner76's advice about a group hang is spot on. I've only seen one hammock (my own) prior to this weekend when I attended my first group hang. There I was able to see DIY gathered, WBBB, Hennessy, Grand Trunk, Trek Light... I would have no idea about any of these if it weren't for a group hang.

Best of luck on the search for a great hammock and welcome again.

Another WBBB triple layer hanger here. You can't go wrong with it. You get a very flat lay and plenty of room to thrash around lol.

It's not too much more than a dbl 1.7 layer and you're guaranteed to get a Warbonnet original. I would never go back to anything else. PM me if you want more details.
