Did you get the adjustable webbing suspension, dbl layer,...? You only need to set it up with the side you choose to be the foot end slightly higher than the head end. Put on some over and under insulation, appropriate to the temp and adjusted well. Then climb in set up asym and drift off.

I really like my 1.1 dbl Traveler and when in it sleep is as natural as it gets. Good choice.

Ya I did get the 1.1 double layer as well. Seemed like the beat option. Thanks for the input and advise. I'm so pumped!

It's for the BB but the basics (distance, angle, and ridgeline feel test) apply very well. What do you plan to do for insulation?

have a 6 hr block the day you receive it because your gonna want to nap in it right away
Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.

Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.

Only advice I have is leave a little slack in the ridgeline to help keep your feet in the hammock and it helps lessen calf pressure a bit too. I find for me that the traveler needs more slack than my blackbird does. The traveler is comfortable though. I've never had a bad nights sleep in it even at -15F.

I have this pillow under my knees. Seems to take leg cramps and hurting heels. It weighs 310 gram (10,9 ounce).
