    Latest Tarp/ Double sided tape!!

1st off, HAPPY NEW YEAR MY FRIENDS, HOPE EVERYONE IS WELL!!! I read on here, that double sided tape would gook my needle up, stick, and not work. Not so!!! I used Scotch double sided tape to attach the two sections together for sewing, and it worked like a dream!!! I laid one piece of tape the entire length, laid the sil nylon on top, then laid another full length tape on top of that, folded over, sewed, and NO ISSUES with it binding or sticking to my needle. Woo Hoo!!! Turned a 6 hr job, into 2.5 for me!! I used Grosgrain then down the center of the seam. I rolled the edges, and used no tape on them of course. We had a blizzard last night, so GF came over, and I made her a 9X10 sil nylon tarp today, complete with stuff sack. I had two, 3 yd sections that I bought on clearance, already cut, so these are the dimensions she got. She is thrilled. She watches a lot of survival shows on TV with me, and wants to get into back packing for bow hunts, back packing, and bugouts. She knows how high priced UL gear is. She is using her tax return to buy a Osprey Ariel back pack, a down bag, H2O purifier, Outdoor Edge Swing blade knife, and some other gear. She bought a Swedish fire starter the other day. I gave her a Gerber Machete, and duct tape wrapped on a business card, and so her gear collection is going.
