Yeah I've spliced some continuous loops for prussics out if 1.75 zing-it, so I'm sure you could bury an end. It does leave blisters. Wrap your fingers in some duck tape first.

Yes the 1.75mm Lash-It and Zing-It can be spliced. It just requires a splicing tool sufficiently small in diameter to get the job done and some patience.

I read about one guy on here that managed to splice braided mason line. Now that is some really thin line to do that on.

    Cheers

I have spliced both 1.75 lash it and braided masons line. I find that a THIN paper clip folded in half works well. With line this small I use a LONG taper to help get it going.

The taper is really key to pulling it inside itself easily, and obviously a small diameter puller.
    Good luck,

been using some steel beading thread. I've managed to make a stop loop. I think my problem must be tappering of the cord. going past a 1/4 inch is just not happening. I feel like the guy from 'Dune' who has to milk rats for the antitoxin! Yeah I'm having fun

kayak karl was kind enough to donate a double-eyed needle to me for using on some zing-it. I was intrigued by Dylan's use of zing-it for his tarp tie outs and starting playing with the splice during our hang last weekend. Blisters? Yup, I'll attest to those but it can be done. The taper has been key in making it easier but it just takes time. 7/64 is a breeze now compared to zing-it.
