Hey Lazy River Road...

Along with my two hammock stands Ill also have a AHE full length quilt you can use to demo if needed (with thingies).

2Q- I have it down on my schedule to come over on Friday, so I can help if needed.

By the way, wheres the poll to indicate if we will be joining for breakfast on saturday?

hi everyone!
i plan on driving out friday AM from the philadelphia area. looking forward to making some new friends and hoping to meet other ladies into hammocks and stoves!
i found some pictures from the last hang, could anyone tell me what the previous event was like? did people hike or basically stay around the base camp? just to get an idea so i can know what to bring. sorry if this redundant and more info could be found somewhere! many, many thanks!

i will be working till about 3:30 will pick up my son and should be there Friday about 5:00pm what do i need to bring in the food department...should i pre- make something for the pot luck? just need a general idea. how many are attending the potluck ?? sorry so many questions..i am a local so if anyone needs anything i will help any way i can..Trav.

Typically everyone brings something to share for the Saturday night potluck. There is usually lots of food! I don't think I've heard who's making cheeseburgers, hotdogs, etc on the grill yet, which is customary. Maybe you could help in that department. Probably should talk to Pedro about this need. He's the man in the past that has a knack for flipping burgers!

I'll be bringing meatballs using a family recipe from my Italian mother-in-law. MMMM

I mentioned this trip to my wife again just to see if she thought any more about attending. Her response, "If you want to grunt and scratch like all you men do when you get together for something like this, I think I'll stay home."

I turn to ask my 11 year old step-daughter if she wants to come. Her response, "YEAH! Wait, I can use a hammock, right?"

"Of course" I say.

We both turn and look at mom. My step-daughter goes, "Mom, you just don't get it."

You mentioned in an earlier post about your wife coming? Does she want to stay with ZQ or do you have other plans? We still have several tent spots on three sites reserved over at the family campground area and need to know if we should cancel them. Let me know if you want one.
