Boundfree,
Great story and pics. Look forward to more.
I have many fond memories of my visit to Barcelona, just a couple of months shy of being 37 years ago, I had a wonderful time there and would love to visit your city again but have time to see more of the surrounding area.
Sweet report and fantastic pics! So glad the trees helped you out.
Thanks for sharing your trials and what you learned with us.

Great report, and pictures, thanks for sharing.
I would feel more optimistic about a bright future for man if he spent less time proving that he can outwit Nature and more time tasting her sweetness and respecting her seniority. - E. B. White (1899 - 1985)
Wow your report kept me on the edge of my seat. Kinda scary with all that wind, rain and snow. Thanks for the report.
Watch out for those caterpillars.
We lived on the other side of Spain (El Puerto De Santa Maria, near Cadiz and Jerez.)
The pine tree caterpillars are dangerous and the spines can really mess you up!

Had them in the trees around our house and every year I had to go out and look for them and destroy the nests. Even the hairs from the dead ones can fall on you and irritate your skin.
Like getting poked with really bad fiberglass.
Great post. Great pics. Thanks for taking us along. You had us all worried there for a moment!
