For my CRL I've only tried Speer No Tangle, so far so good. I did just find about 100' of Dynaglide that I'm going to make a couple more CRL's out of. For tie outs it's also been the Speer line. I'm trying Triptease on my Superfly now. So far I really like it. I also have a new OES Deluxe that I haven't rigged up yet. I haven't decided if I want to use Speer or Triptease on it yet.

I'm using Mountainfitters "Guyline" for my CRL and my guyouts. So far so good.

Upon further review, I'm having second thoughts on the Triptease. I like the line itself. It holds a taut-line like nobody's business. But it's just too reflective. My SF is set up in the back yard and that line just glows... Since it's already on this tarp I'll just leave it on there. But I don't think I'll be using it on my backpacking tarps. No point in having a neon sign screaming, "Hey! I'm over here!"

For the moment I'm using orange paracord, for guylines and my 2 line ridgeline (I have a superfly tarp), and I'm able to get a nice tight pitch.

I will be switching to dynaglide as the paracord stretches too much on the ridgelines, but I have not had a problem with the guylines.

Does triptease glow or just reflect when hit by a flashlight etc?

It just reflects when it's hit by light. But it doesn't take much light at all to get it blazing.

I use Triptease for guylines and the ridge of my tarp, and it does flash like neon when you hit it with a flashlight. It is something I think you will love or hate because it can't be ignored. It also hold knots, keeps round profile so knots don't jam, has low stretch, cool name... downside is it is rather abrasive.
