    Thumbs up

Here is a short video review of the underquilt protector. My first impressions are that it is a very nice design. I think it will work with pretty much any hammock including Bridge hammocks making it a very versatile piece of kit. Two thumbs up!

Thanks Pizza for the review. It might be useful to know we are using 1.1oz "calendared" ripstop. The process of calendaring (a heat and pressure process) does add a bit of water resistance to the fabric, yet still allows it to breathe.

    Hi pizza,
    enjoyed the video thanks.
Don't you just love the side shockcord adjustments? No flopping material in the wind, nice tight seal along the edges.

Is the traveler hammock the same length as a wbbb?

Yeah the side shock cord tensioners are great. Makes for a sag free setup.

Yes, the Traveler and Blackbird are the same dimensions 65x120. I'm kinda curious to try the undercover on my Blackbird with my AHE BBO top cover on as well.

I have a BBO as well. Plan is to try them together tonight.
I wish the BBO had a way to attach without using the wbbb pullouts.
In winter I always unzip and fold the netting back.
This allows me to reach over and adjust the UQ. It would also be nice if it covered or overlapped the footbox a little more.

If I was doing a DIY BBO it would have ~6" more of material on the sides and a way to attach without using the hammock pullouts.
Tim, Donna, want to tackle that one? lol

    The BBO side 1

    BBO side 2

How I finished off my UQP attachments once I got the fit correct..

OutandBack & Pizza, Thanks for the feedback on this. Looks like I might have another supplemental piece of gear...

    One final update.
Spent the nite in my rig Tuesday nite. Hit a new low for me -19.7F
    Link with pictures here:

Wednesday morning I checked between all bottom layers, UQP, both sides of UQ, bottom of hammock and found no condensation what so ever.
How much did the UQP help with my new low temp? I can't say. But I was glad it was on there helping to trap warm air and keeping the UQ tightly sealed against my bottom.

I'll be field testing this Sun - Wed @10,000ft hope to have some good picts and info on my return.

    Cheers
