    PM me for details

1/2 the weight for half the price + half the shipping cost good deal.

Sounds like an awesome offer, but I will just wait for the next care package from the Family.

Welcome to HF! Is the picture of you in your avatar taken in front of the library at Ephesus?

WOW! Talk about a welcome from all over!

    Hello to you too!

Fronkey, Wow! Close!! They look pretty similar, but it's actually the Treasury at Petra in Jordan. I went there in search of the Holy Grail, but all I found was a Foster's pot with the name "Tinny" scratched on it...

And this "Shug" you speak of...he made a video somewhere?

(jk! I think I've seen them all--except for that one where he rides around on the trail on his unicycle doing all sorts of tricks and jumps--I didn't watch that one...)

    DT

P.S. And no, they didn't let me hang my hammock between the ancient columns at Petra...

but with some amsteel and a couple of climbers chocks/nuts/whatever they call those thingies; and you could pick two cracks in a boulder nearby...
KM(just kidding! they probably have rangers scouring the whole valley...world heritage site and all that)
Welcome from DFW area; what are these crisps you speak of?

It sound like you found the right place!
I love to cuddle up in merino wool, too!

    BER - 42! Exactly!!! That's what I'm talking about!

Mike - The Icebreaker stuff is pretty pricey, especially for being made in China, but otherwise they seem to be pretty enviro-conscious. There are other companies that are getting on board the wool bandwagon. Can you recommend any other merino-ware companies?

I swear by it! I had soaked boots and Smartwool mid-hiker socks one evening late in October and not only were my feet warm, but when I pulled off the sock, it left my feet dry!

Anyone willing to trade equal weights of Amsteel or SilNylon for Coffee Crisp?

Haha That was my next guess. The columns are darker in Petra than Ephesus, I should have known. Awesome place and glad you made it there. Some would say that a Foster's pot is the Holy grail of camping gear.
