    NA or NX-150?

    Hi ppl, (excuse my english)
As always i'm sleeping in my winter tent for now. But, I'm looking for a nice hammock since last year. At first, I was liking the HH but changed my mind because if I'm taking in consideration that I'll pay every extra accessories that I'll need for winter camping, It would be better to buy a CJH!

Now the big question is without talking about the difference in term of prices, which is better, NA or NX-150?

    I'm 5'10'' and weight 180.

For the first year, I would try my exped downmat 9 dlx as underquilt. Would it be alright?

    Thank you!

Hahaaa... That's pretty funny that you are the first who answer me because since saturday morning I'm looking at ALL your videos on youtube... And for that reason I've the funny feeling that I know you since a while...lol

My girlfriend said me a couple second ago that because of you she's looking for a try in winter camping ( I camp in winter since more than 10 years but she never felt the envy to go outside under 0C...)

By the way... When you say terrific... Is it good or bad?

I was checkin' out the clark page for the first time theo ther day and I had no idea how highspeed these things are. Pricey, priiiiicy, but man that seem like Cadillacs with all the bells and whistles.

One of my good friends is about your build and has the clark ultralight and loves it. The NX weighs more and costs more, and given your size i think the NA will be pretty roomy. Might want to upgrade to a larger fly though.

For my location, Sept-iles, I'm at 50th parallel so I know that I need at minimum an NA because right now (looking outside at the temp gauge...) It's -17C and I go outside way under that. ( The lowest was -43C and with windchill it was -89C...)

I don't really care about the 4oz difference between the NA and NX-150 because I'm going to lose about 13 pounds switching the tent for hammock anyway!

So is it better an NA or NX-150? Is the sticks make a real difference. Does it feel a lot roomier in a NX-150? Or is it only a false feeling?

Does someone tried both of them?

The NA and NX-150 are different lays.

the NX rods do open it up and makes it roomy.

I have the Tropical, not the NA but they will both have the same lay,
and it is different than the NX for sure.

If it is winter camping you desire,
the NX is the answer for the reasons you've stated,
as, again as you stated, it is the complete package . . .
