I was planning to cook some taco soup Friday evening. Very easy recipe. I thought it might go well with the bread baking going on. If anyone wants some soup just just say so and I'll let you know what canned good to contribute.

We may have to change the name to the Grayson Highlands Fall Feed! The bears won't be the only ones putting on 10,000 calories a day. Man! I'm not there yet!?!

I have been on a diet and this hang may set me back. I will ,just have to make sure I am last in line and hope everything has been taken by the time I get to the front of the line.

I made potato salad for the first time yesterday. It turned out pretty darn good, if I do say so myself.
According to how things go the day before leaving (Thurs) I may make some for Fri consumption.

I have one of those giant silver tarps in the shed. I haven't used in in a while so let me get it out & see if it's still in good shape. It's HUGE! Will still need rope for it though...

I was actually thinking more like 20 x 30 for base camp cooking area, but hold that thought
