I am new to the hammock thing, and just bought a Shamu as my first underquilt. Last night I gave it my first run through outside of the garage. I have a wbbb and have the Shamu rigged by running 1 piece of shock cord off of each corner through a little cord loop right past the knot. I have a couple of cord locks on the other side of the loop so I can easily adjust the length to get it tight. It got down to 35 degrees and my back was a little chilly but not awful I would want another nest to go cooler. The only thing that I couldn't get right was it seemed to want to slide off my left shoulder, so every hour or so I found myself having to pull the quilt back up and around my shoulders. Is that typical for underquilts? I do flip around alot at night.
