Yes, it's a tent. There, I said it.

Before I discovered all things hammock, I was exploring 'bombproof' MILSPEC gear. So, now that I have gone the full hammock route I am ditching the non-hammock items as I find it amongst my stored stuff.

This is an ORC Industries Improved Army Combat Shelter. 1 person, ACU Digital Camo blackout fabric, integrated bugnetting.

Ripstop Nylon, weight is about 6 lbs. (Bombproof yes, lightweight, NO) This is more of a bugout bag type piece of gear.

u have floor size? center height?

shock corded section poles? 2 long that make and X across its length and a short top ... erm spreader bar?

sorry for questions but I've often wondered about these.

so its net tent with a fly cover? or tent with net doors sewn in on both long sides AND a fly?

and yes I have looked at the product page and its not very informative to say the least lol

yes, shock-corded poles, x-over for the main tent with a single cross-support for the fly.

I've been trying to find the dimensions and so far I've come up stumps. Hopefully the above link will help answer some of your questions.
