    The perfect setup.

As many of you know, the drive towards perfection is a force not to be take lightly. It will cost you money, a lot of money if you are lucky enough to have them. And thus my journey into the world of hammocks have not been cheap.

I can at the moment accommodate 5 people in 3 seasons hammock setups if they bring there own sleeping bags. As for winter setup (not extreme cold) I can only accommodate 4 people.

And now to my near perfect winter setup.

    Warbonnett Traveler
Big Mamajamba with doors (should have been the Superfly)
Speer PolarPod (got it in the mail to day)
    Exped Dreamwalker 650

And for extreme cold winter setup add:

    Hammock Gear Winter Incubator
    Hammock Gear Winter Burrow

Will be going out on an overnighter on March 1. with a couple of friends and will make a trip report testing the PolarPod and Dreamwalker.

    Until then,
    Have a great time.

    Blaze.

I took me two trips out to get my winter set up right, but am dialed in now. I'm now working on my summer light weight set up. :-)

I am aiming for sighting the aurora (http://aurorahunter.com/aurora-prediction.php) up in the north of Sweden and I am close to having my gear ready, though I still don’t have a pulk, snowshoes and the like. But eventually I will have it all ready for the big show.

I have thus far been sleeping in a hammock at -21*C and that was for me what I would call extreme.

From my experience with the weather in the north of Scandinavia (have been in - 29*C in Mora) it can be very, very cold, and I want to be prepared.

As for summer (Winter Yeti) and 3 seasons setup (Hammock Gear Winter Incubator) I am rolling.

    Cool !
    That sounds like dedication !
And i think you will be OK in that gear.
Just add some warm clothes and something warm for your feet.
For those times when we dont move around that much !
But what the heck, there will always be digging to be done

Seems like hammocking has turned me into a gear freak, so no way I will let go of it.

I laid back in my rig last weekend and thought to myself, "can it really get any better than this ?"

11 hours later I woke up, I'm pretty happy with where I am right now it has to be said.

You've nailed it there Shewie, the good sleep you get in a hammock is worth an infinite amount of $$$

If you had a Speer PolarPod wouldn’t you want one of these. And so it goes on and on and on.
