Yea Im hooked. For 18 years it was a campers mesh hammock, army poncho for a tarp and army sleeping bag. Since finding the forum I've. Upgraded to clarks marmot and lots of other cool gear. My wallet was happy the way things were but there is no comparing the comfort levels.

    Welcome from Maryland!

Interesting to hear how gear changes over time. The more we hear about, the more our brain spins with the "what if I had..." I'm thinking on adding a shed/work room out back to store all this gear I keep acquiring! All in the pursuit of wilderness enjoyment!

    Welcome... I think.
Sounds weird saying "welcome" to someone that has been lurking for a year.
Hopefully your posts will be a bit more frequent now that you've broken radio silence.

Oh i've had lots to say just really behind the timeswhen it comes to technology. Don't have internet at home and the phone I used to access H.F. would only let me read websites not interact. So I got a droid, now its on Just gotta figure out how to work these forums
