The trail has been calling my name for too long now

I know their has to be others of yall out there that can't stand not having the time to go on a camping trip. I cant wait for spring break or a free weekend to hit the trail for a night or two. I know their has to be alot of other people out there wanting to go on a good hike but can't find the time. I'm just letting my frustration out on here cause I know people can connect.

Which is why I bought all this winter gear. I've managed to head out once or twice a month for awhile now. I actually got lucky and went out last weekend and this upcomming weekend. I'll have to stay home next weekend and catch up on some house work though. :-)

I'm just too impatient to wait until Spring!

yeah, well I'm in Georgia, so I didn't need to much winter gear, so I made it out on Jan 3rd and once in someone's back yard in Dec. , so it hasn't been too long now, just can't wait for those perfect spring days and nights.

I have a trip coming up this weekend and it is the first one in awhile an I can't wait, it is driving me insane. I have been hanging the hammock in the backyard everyday, because I can't wait!

haha yeah, I'm off at college right now, so every time I go home I mess with my hammock some in the back yard, my next trip should be Panther Creek the second weekend of March

I may not be able to camp out as often as I like but I try to get out and do a little hiking every sunday. I take a hammock with me in case I find a place I can stop and take a break like this dead tree last sunday.

Thats an awesome set up gunner, I'm ready for it to warm up enough where I dont need any bottom insulation...makes my load alot lighter, plus carrying a fishing pole or camping some where to swim sounds like a great time too.

I agree that I wish I could get out more. That's partly why I decided sort of at the last minute to pick up some neded gear and go out this weekend.
It really helps to hang at home though. I am fortunate that my hammock stand is right beside my woodstove and in front of my TV.
