I know how you feel. I felt the same way when after about 20 years of refusing to go backpacking, my wife wanted to go. Then she also fell into hammocking after 10 years of swearing it would never work for her.

It sure is nice to have a supportive sig other. My GF really likes sleeping in a hammock, and is the one to suggest we go hammocking. Doesn't get any better than this....other than the fact she also wants to learn how to kayak!!!
