    Infomation Needed on Bug net

I have been pondering the idea of buying the Bug net for my DIY gathered end. I use my BB in the winter but come summer i like the small pack size and weight of my "Traveller style" Hammock.
I have messed around with bug nets over the last year but never realy been 100% happy with them.
All my kit from Brandon has been of outstanding quality however i cant find the dimentions of his bug net anywhere.... my rigeline is 101" and i like to hang low in the summer to catch the breeze so my rigeline is around 50" off the floor,

So does anyone have the dimentions? or in your opinions will it be another great addition to my ever growning kit list....?

Your information will be greatly helpfull and undoubtably good for Brandons pockets!!!

101' ridgeline. Brandons Bug Net should fit like hand in glove.

the distance from the ridge seam to the bottom will change once the hammock is occupied, it should be just tall enough to allow for an uq underneath.

the dimensions changed not too long ago, the new ones (for the past year or so) are the length of the stock BB/Traveler, with maybe an inch or so to spare. should fit the traveler (with stock rl) perfectly without need for any seperate suspension for the net, you still could use a shorter hammock/RL which would give you excess netting, and there are some rings on the end if you need to rig something to hold it up.

    Don't do what I did.

Being on the short side the hammock is hung a bit lower than most. Result is in an unoccupied hammock the bug net bottom touches the ground. Netting seems to pick up stuff. So I cut ~6" off the bottom. Forgot to factor in ~0.5" seam allowance. End result is the WB Winter Yeti is slightly compressed when in the hammock under the butt/hip area. Good news is no need for the BugNet if it's cold enough to need the WY.

The bug net under quilt compression situation has been an issue in the early diy bug sock. Cutting it a bit too close to save a few grams. Lots of scrap tulle.

Question for Brandon if he views this post. Any chance of a shorter zipper option in the future? Bit of stretch for this short person. Deal with it by not totally opening the zipper & carefully getting in to avoid stressing the partially closed zipper.

I know people have problems with integrated bug net hammocks and bugs biting through the hammock material. I know the double layer hammocks are much less likely to have bugs bite through. I'm curious if the full bug net all the way around would almost be a better option for bug season since they hang lower than the hammock, bug shouldn't be able to get to the hammock right?
