Talking Video: Lost in the Big Ditch

No, not the TV series by a long shot ... just the further adventures of four good friends on the classic Linville Gorge scramble L.O.S.T. or the Lower Original Scrambler's Trail. Not really a trail but an adventure non the less.

You won't find three finer men to share a trail like this with than Ken, Mtncmpr and Waterbar Jim.

    L.O.S.T.

    Bravo!

Great video Hawk-eye. I am so very jealous. Nat Geo quality on the filmography too

I enjoy knowing that one square inch of earth without vegetation constitutes a viable trail

Kudos to Ken, Jim, and Glen as well. Couldn't ask for a better crew

Great tour of LOST, Hawk-eye! Thanks!

RF, I believe the Gorge rule of thumb is, if a route can be bushwacked, it is a trail... and if you can find it a second time, it gets a name.

    Yet another great "Ratumentary"!

It's always a joy to wake up, grab a cup of joe, and watch a video of the Gorge. Man, there's sooo.. much there to explore.

Looking forward to going back this year a couple of times. Thanks for taking us along, my fellow Rat!

Well thanks RF ... it's a lot of fun to make and like Shug says even more fun to re-live the adventure in the edit.

It's an old one, and a bit over grown ... sort of like us! And yeah you can't do better than Ken, Jim and Glen!

Nice job on the video. I'd like to do that trek some day. What kind of time did you spend doing that day hike?
BTW, you're moving a lot better than last time I hiked w/ you Hawkeye. Good to see
