Yes the UQP worked perfectly even when the snow started blowing around under my tarp one evening. I was so glad it was on since I know the snow would have ended up between the UQ and hammock.
My UQP basically lives on my wbbb now.

I would really like to see the UQ mfg'ers work on a fix for this cold sagging issue.
The only fix I have read about is to tighten the SC so tight there's no stretch left in them. Might as well us lighter zingit and save the weight.

I know Moski is using a heavier white sc meant for sailing and he haven't experienced any sag....

I used to work at a medico company, where we used medical grade silicone tubing to suspend microscopes, so when using liquid nitrogen they didn't stiffen up and vibrate because of the cold evaporated nitrogen - it's supposed to retain flexibility down to -40f - i thought this would be perfect. But according to moski´s testing the tubing he got was worse than ordinary sc

Maybe some of our more material knowledgeable member know something

No, it is 3 season and that might make a difference. It is so tight though, that I can't imagine a little more down making it sag. I have a claytor I just clip it to the end where the whoopie sling comes out of the gathered channel on each end. Draws real tight. I am really pleased with it.

It's almost twice as heavy(15,7 vs 28,5 oz) i guess that's the reason + it's temperature dependent Dunno if Adam uses the same diameter sc for the various models

EDIT: i use the same attachment method and just leave it on when packing up.

I use the same UQ "snugging" technique on my setup as well. Thanks to Shug.

    Him bald, and me gray.

The audible gasp in the workshop, chased with the other spouse's "What!?! What's wrong?!? What??" Then the sagging relief of shoulders, head shaking, and a good grin to make our day. Still, it's aging us, and we haven't finished raising the kids!
