GG Torse Pad to suppliment summer 3/4 UQ

Okay so I have a summer pheonix with 1 oz overfill.

Also I normally carry a Gossamer Gear Nightlight torso length pad in the off chance ground camping is forced upon me

I've done some digging around on here regarding using an UQ with a pad and it appears that the pad will boost my UQ rating.

How much of a boost could I expect with this small pad, ie: another 5 °C lower etc. Not that I'd plan to use the pad, It would more be a case of colder weather than expected and I get CBS.
I understand this pad isn't probably ideal due to the small size and narrow-ish width but this is more of a last resort plan.

Also, what's the best way to use the pad in the hammock with a UQ.
Do you just lay on the pad ??

I could put it between the layers of my 1.0 dbl WBBB ??

    FYI
I'd be also using a summer burrow with a small footpad anyway for insulation.
I am a GEAR JUNKIE and GRAM COUNTER !!

There, It's out. I said it, Ahh I feel better now

Yep, just put it between the two layers.

Anyone know what sort of a temp boost I'd get from using the summer UQ with a pad.

I'm pretty sure this summer UQ with get me to around the 0°C mark, probably not much lower than that for warmth.

Would the pad get me into the 3 season range ???

    Comments and experience appreciated
